HOW IS YOUR BUSINESS DOING – Do you need a new strategy?

1. Do you see the truth about where your business is compared to competitors in the same market? Is there a need for change?
2. Conduct a market survey/flexibility reports
- Customers, non-customers and lost customers
- See if things can be done differently and how to meet the buyer’s needs
- See what to stop; what to do differently and what you can create so you can stand out. In other words, how can you change/improve your brand or strategy?
3. Draw a picture of where you want to be. That is, your new and improved vision. (This is based on the results of your research) You could present them to existing, old, lost and non-customer. Ask for their feedback. That will help you come up with a strategy on how to actualize the vision.
4. Draw a table that shows where you are and where you want to go. Go further to find how to get there. Discuss with everyone in the company and come up with one page strategy. Support in every way moves to take the company to its desired place. The idea is for leaders to
- Think differently
- Make moves that may not have been made before
- Be confident about them
- Forget the competition and focus on the consumers
